Regional Sales Representative – Electrical Markets

About the role

Join 3M's Electrical Markets Division as a Regional Sales Representative, driving profitable sales across East Texas and Houston. You will collaborate with innovative 3M teams worldwide while managing a territory that includes end‑customers, distributors, and key market segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective territory business plans to achieve sales targets.
• Prioritize customers, markets and distributors, implementing promotions and directives from division management.
• Collaborate with other C&I territories and 3M divisions to meet customer needs.
• Utilize a company vehicle for customer visits, subject to motor‑vehicle history review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of direct sales or electrical construction/industrial experience, or an Associate’s degree with five years of electrical industry sales experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Strong negotiation, relationship‑building and presentation abilities.
