Key Account Regional Distribution Leader

About the role

The Key Account Regional Distribution Leader (KAM RDL) for the Electrical Markets Division acts as the field‑based extension of the National Key Account Manager, driving growth across national distribution partners and strategic accounts. This remote position supports national account strategies, builds key customer relationships, and aligns cross‑functional resources to meet sales, profitability and market‑share goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support National Key Account Managers in executing strategic business plans for assigned national accounts and distribution partners.
• Drive sales growth, market‑share expansion, and product conversion opportunities across multiple regions.
• Build and strengthen relationships with stakeholders at national, regional and local levels.
• Execute agreements, contracts, pricing programs, RFQs and promotional initiatives.
• Conduct business reviews to evaluate performance, identify opportunities and align growth strategies.
• Partner with field sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain and finance teams to support customer objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of direct sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with data‑driven selling tools and analytics.
