Regional Sales Manager – HPLC Chromatography Sales

About the role

Join Axcend, an early‑stage company transforming life‑science analytics with innovative microflow HPLC technology. As a Regional Sales Manager you will drive revenue for the Focus LC product line across a flexible home region, promoting a disruptive total cost of ownership model.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets for analytical instrumentation, consumables and services.
• Identify, develop and close key opportunities in life‑science research, biopharma, drug discovery and related markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers, presenting eco‑friendly “Green HPLC” solutions that cut hazardous waste by 99%.
• Coordinate with Field Application Scientists and Service teams for demos, sample work‑up and post‑sales support.
• Provide accurate forecasts, weekly reports and maintain detailed account information in the CRM system.

Required profile

• BS, MS or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of capital‑equipment sales experience in life‑science markets, preferably HPLC or mass‑spec.
• Established network of contacts in biopharma, drug discovery or PAT sectors.
• Willingness to travel ~50% of the time, including overnight trips.

Required skills

• HPLC and Mass Spectrometry knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.com.
