Regional Manager - Sports Medicine

About the role

Stryker, a global medical technology company offering orthopedics, medical and surgical and neurotechnology and spine products, is looking for a Sports Medicine Regional Manager in Michigan. The role leads a sales team to meet its sales goals, working closely with Sales Representatives and partnering with the Director of Sales. It is listed as a management position with work flexibility remote.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee sales activity, productivity standards, territory management, schedules and time management for the sales team
• Recruit, hire, train and develop sales professionals, conduct quarterly sales training sessions and individual performance reviews
• Analyze sales data and commission reports, manage target pipeline lists and align them with sales goals
• Hold monthly meetings with the Area VP Sales on regional goals and status, and submit quarterly reports to the Area VP Sales
• Communicate regularly with Marketing Directors and Corporate Accounts on strategic selling situations
• Foster a healthy competitive team environment, take part in top target accounts and competitive situations, and stay available for daily troubleshooting and strategic discussions with the team
• Reinforce Stryker's corporate sales philosophy and culture

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years in sales with a proven record of success
• Demonstrated expertise in sales concepts, practices and procedures
• Strong analytical skills, effective communication and ability to develop and implement sales programs
• Proven experience in formal leadership roles or leading teams and projects strongly preferred

• Base salary of $129,000 plus eligibility for commission and/or bonuses
