Regional Key Account Manager – European Automotive Accounts (Americas)

About the role

Surventis is seeking a Regional Key Account Manager to lead its European automotive OEM accounts across the Americas. You will act as the primary contact for key customers, driving revenue growth and ensuring product quality meets expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Grow direct sales for European automotive OEMs such as BMW and Mercedes in North America.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers while acquiring new accounts.
• Provide solution recommendations, technical support, and resolve customer conflicts.
• Lead field service teams to address technical requests and troubleshoot product issues.
• Coordinate initiatives with labs, supply chain, quality, and production sites.
• Gather market intelligence, update competitor data, and execute regional strategy plans.
• Travel approximately 50% domestically and internationally.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key account management within the automotive or coatings industry.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Results‑driven with a fact‑based decision‑making approach.
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Americas.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of automotive OEM coatings and surface treatments.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (sales, marketing, technical, quality, supply chain).
• Ability to analyze market and competitor data.
