About the role

Morguard, a fully integrated real estate company investing in multifamily assets across North America, is hiring a Recruiter in Pompano Beach. The recruiter runs a hands-on recruiting process for hiring managers and candidates on assigned requisitions, reports to the Corporate Recruiter and partners with other HR resources. The role involves active daily recruiting and helping build and manage recruitment programs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist hiring managers and the Corporate Recruiter with recruitment duties and drive progress on assigned requisitions
• Run intake calls with hiring managers or review needs analysis documents to set requirements and screening criteria
• Manage postings and job distribution, sourcing candidates internally and externally
• Screen candidates and recommend them to senior leaders and hiring managers
• Document candidate feedback in the ATS and/or staffing tracker, and keep interview records there or in a shared drive
• Keep candidates informed of application status, selection and onboarding, and share company culture and benefits
• Coordinate onsite and remote interviews and collect dispositions for each candidate
• Ensure recruitment and selection practices comply with company policy and applicable legislation
• Perform market analysis for various job markets as needed

Required profile

• 1-3 years of internal recruitment experience for all levels of management; hospitality experience is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local employment law as it relates to recruiting and hiring
• Experience building industry connections through recruiting social networks such as LinkedIn
• Proactive, collaborative, ethical and detail-oriented, with strong communication and organizational skills
