Recruiter (Aerospace Skilled Trades)

About the role

Adecco is hiring an in-office Recruiter in Wichita, Kansas, to source and recruit candidates for temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct-hire orders for standard to moderately complex clients in the aerospace skilled trades. The recruiter builds and maintains a candidate pipeline, provides exceptional service to clients and candidates, develops new business and maintains current relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing: handle all candidates contacting the branch, manage the PDS website and digital tools to track the selection process, and coordinate recruiting events
• Recruiting: set up recruitment plans, qualify candidates against standards, conduct behavioural interviews, coach candidates on resumes and interviews, and enter and track data in Applicant Tracking Systems
• Retention: build relationships with candidates and clients, identify training plans for candidates and temporary employees, and respond to inquiries and escalations
• Sales: know the Adecco service portfolio, price and sell services, and help build knowledge of target industries, clients, roles, market share and competition
• Financials: understand the main variables affecting gross margin (workers comp, pay rates, regulations, taxes, benefits) and the financial status of the branch

Required profile

• At least one year of recruiting experience, preferably in the staffing industry
• ATS experience
• Knowledge of job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed and ZipRecruiter
• Ability to interpret employment laws and regulations, and to prioritise multiple assignments while meeting deadlines

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
