Realty Project Coach

About the role

The Realty Project Coach joins Walmart’s Realty Execution team to lead store and club remodels, new store openings, and special projects across the United States. This position combines project ownership with hands‑on team supervision, ensuring each initiative is delivered on time, within budget, and to Walmart’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the execution of remodel, new‑store, and special projects in assigned locations.
• Coordinate with store team leads, hourly associates, and store leadership to keep projects on track.
• Manage escalations, resolve concerns from suppliers, leadership, and associates.
• Communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders and minimize impact on store operations.
• Travel frequently (up to 1,000 mi) and spend up to 80% of time away from the home store.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with at least 1 year of project‑management experience, or 3 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, space management, or store design.
• Experience leading people, cross‑functional teams, or initiatives.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts (10‑12 hours) and extensive travel.
