Radiology Technologist – Surgery Neuro Expansion

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute is expanding with a state‑of‑the‑art facility. We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging exams for surgical and neuro patients, supporting high‑acuity care across multiple specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Perform radiology and fluoroscopic examinations on patients of all ages, including emergency, trauma, and surgical cases.
• Operate X‑ray, fluoroscopy, and other imaging equipment to produce high‑quality images while minimizing radiation dose.
• Assist physicians, radiologists, and surgeons during procedures and ensure proper patient positioning and safety.
• Document technical data accurately in RIS/PACS, schedule patients, and prioritize workflow.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathologic processes, and imaging protocols.

Required skills

• Operation of X‑ray and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Proficiency with PACS for image acquisition, archiving, and transmission.
• Experience using RIS for billing and documentation.
• Ability to mentor new hires and radiology students.
