Radiology Technologist – Surgery & Neuro Expansion

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute is expanding with a state‑of‑the‑art 15‑floor facility. This full‑time position supports surgical and neuro imaging services across the Main Campus, providing high‑quality radiographic care to patients of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Perform radiology exams and fluoroscopic procedures, including ED/surgical cases, trauma, vascular, orthopedic, cardiac, GI, GU, neuro, and pediatric studies.
• Prepare patients, position them correctly, operate X‑ray and fluoroscopy equipment, and obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation dose.
• Assist radiologists, physicians, and surgeons during procedures and ensure accurate documentation in PACS and RIS.
• Monitor patient safety, provide verbal and written instructions, and support scheduling and prioritization of cases.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathologic processes, and imaging protocols.

Required skills

• Operation of X‑ray and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Proficiency with PACS for image acquisition, archiving, and transmission.
• Experience with RIS for billing and documentation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
