Quality Engineer Internship

About the role

The Quality Engineer Intern will gain experience across Operations Quality, Supplier Quality and Design Assurance. Working closely with manufacturing, suppliers and R&D teams, the intern will support projects that help Coloplast meet its business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in hands‑on problem‑solving and resolution.
• Support and own resolution of quality issues, including root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support supplier communication for quality issues or projects.
• Implement process improvements under guidance of project engineers.
• Review validation protocols, reports and other documentation for operations and R&D.
• Support implementation of manufacturing or supplier changes.
• Create and maintain records of inspection and test results for assigned projects.

Required profile

• Pursuing a 4‑year or graduate degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Undergraduate student (sophomore level or higher) with successful completion of basic engineering coursework.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to develop test protocols and synthesize data into test reports.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis such as two‑sample t‑test and tolerance‑limit calculation.
