Quality Coordinator (MA/CNA) - Field Visits

About the role

Arkos Health, a value-based healthcare company serving payors and providers, is hiring a Quality Coordinator (Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant) in Casper, Wyoming. This is a field position requiring in-home visits to help meet patients' needs and support STARS/HEDIS quality measures. Travel is required up to 80% of the time in your own personal vehicle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in-home visits with patients
• Complete point-of-care testing, including diabetic A1c collection, blood pressure checks, colorectal screening kits and other tests required by STARS/HEDIS measures
• Review data collected to confirm gaps in care are captured
• Build positive, professional relationships with patients and explain the testing and its reasoning

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Medical Assistant (MA)
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment
• Own reliable vehicle, valid state driver's license and appropriate liability insurance
• Current CPR certification

Required skills

• Ability to perform point-of-care testing such as urine sample collection, A1c checks and blood pressure checks
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; previous EMR experience is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
• Organized, prioritizes workload, strong customer service and attention to detail
