Quality Control Labs Supervisor

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Supervisor for its Quality Control Labs to lead the Incoming Inspection area. The role ensures daily laboratory activities comply with SOPs and global regulations while delivering high‑quality test results.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support quality control lab teams to meet task deadlines and standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, assign tasks, and manage workflow.
• Conduct inspection, testing, and analysis of products and raw materials using various analytical techniques and laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, GDP, and Data Integrity requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow SOPs, and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Investigate inspection failures and assist in budget planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (or high school + 10 years, Associate + 16 years, M.S. + 0 years).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or quality environment.
• At least 1 year of demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Exempt work‑hour classification.
