Technical Lead – Enabling Technologies

About the role

Enovis is looking for a hands‑on Technical Lead to drive the design, development and delivery of innovative orthopedic enabling‑technology solutions. The role sits within the Enabling Technologies team in Austin and works across product, systems and software engineering to bring compliant, high‑quality medical devices to market.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for multidisciplinary product development programs from concept through commercialization.
• Define and maintain system architecture that integrates hardware, software, sensors, optics, visualization and instrumentation.
• Lead technical design reviews covering software, embedded systems, algorithms, electronics and mechanical components.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Program Management.
• Mentor engineering teams and guide development activities to ensure scalability and compliance.

Required profile

• Experienced and collaborative engineer with a strong background in medical device development.
• Hands‑on technical leader comfortable solving complex engineering challenges.
• Proven ability to influence technical decisions across multidisciplinary teams.
