Quality Assurance Specialist - Facilities Data & CAD

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist applies strong working knowledge of drafting in AutoCAD or Revit to update drawings and property management software for various clients. The role also administers Record Facility Management information across systems, including periodic database updates, audits and integrity checks of facility data, plus helpdesk and system support.

Key responsibilities

• Apply AutoCAD and client-specific CAD standards to architectural, structural, furniture, electrical, mechanical and security drawings for corporate real estate records.
• Maintain accurate data and drawing records in CAFM systems and support property management software, troubleshooting and guiding tool users by email, instant message, video or in person.
• Follow quality assurance procedures, including auditing records or a change control log to track work history.
• Contribute to standard operating procedure playbooks and documentation.
• With support, acquire certifications and training, learn Revit, client tools and reporting, and stay up to date with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training, or at least 5 years of related drafting experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of AutoCAD experience; CAFM/IWMS administration experience required.
• Oral and written English, with the ability to present information clearly.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD; proficient use of a computer with email, spreadsheets and Google tools or Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Revit preferred.
