Quality Assurance Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Intern to join our QA Engineering team in Gainesville. The intern will support a range of projects aimed at building a lean, efficient quality program for our medical device products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with post‑market complaint investigations.
• Support inspection planning, manufacturing quality planning, and execution.
• Help resolve product non‑conformities.
• Contribute to risk management file creation and assessment.
• Participate in the planning, creation, and execution of automated test programs and measurement systems analysis (MSA).
• Aid in drafting Quality Management System (QMS) SOPs, work instructions, and forms.
• Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) projects as needed.
• Apply relevant federal and international quality standards.
• Provide assistance to other employees, teams, and sales personnel when required.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field.
• Enrolled in the junior or senior year of an undergraduate program, or in the final year of a graduate program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
