General Operator – Press Production

About the role

Press Operators are responsible for safe, efficient, and quality‑compliant operation of progressive stamping equipment. They load raw material, run jobs to standard, perform preventive maintenance, conduct quality inspections, and keep the work area organized.

Key responsibilities

• Operate automatic power press and auxiliary equipment safely, load raw material, and run 3–4 machines after training.
• Perform visual and physical quality inspections, identify non‑conforming product, and handle scrap according to work instructions.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance, report equipment issues, and follow all safety programs including lockout/tagout and PPE.
• Enter production data using computers and communicate status or equipment problems to supervision.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) and authorized to work in the United States.
• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking with basic math proficiency.
• Dependable attendance and ability to stand for an entire shift, lift up to 50 lb, and perform repetitive motions.
