QA/QC Manager II – Data Center Construction

About the role

This position leads the implementation and management of Bureau Veritas Primary Integration's Quality Control Program for hyperscale data‑center projects, ensuring successful commissioning and turnover. The manager works closely with MEP trade professionals, general contractors and owner QA/QC leadership to foster a strong quality culture.

Key responsibilities

• On‑site QA/QC for construction projects in the hyperscale data‑center market, including witnessing inspections and ensuring contractor compliance with contractual and owner quality requirements.
• Coordinate quality issues among design, construction, and facility operations teams, produce documentation in BIM360, Compass or CX Alloy, and manage non‑conformance reports and corrective actions.
• Provide training to personnel, support subcontractors in drawing interpretation, review submittals, RFI logs and maintain communication protocols.
• Travel to project sites on a rotating schedule (approximately 70% travel) and attend construction meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, OSHA 30 and NFPA70E certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, write reports and present information to clients and stakeholders.
• Physical ability to perform site duties, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lb and working in noisy, high‑heat or elevated environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM360, Compass and CX Alloy for documentation and reporting.
• Experience using Deltek and Microsoft Office 365.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical testing equipment.
