About the role
The Commissioning Engineer I will provide engineering and technical support for the full life‑cycle commissioning of critical facilities. Working under direct supervision, the role involves assisting in design reviews, developing test procedures, and performing system testing.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing commissioning plans and schedules.
- Support engineering design reviews and interpret specifications under supervision.
- Review shop drawings and submittals, develop MEP test and operating procedures.
- Witness and perform static and dynamic testing of MEP systems such as chillers, pumps, UPS, and switchgear.
- Conduct site observations, prepare field reports, daily reports and issue logs.
- Perform routine calculations and assist the project manager with task execution.
Required profile
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, write reports and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics, algebra and geometry for calculations.
- Experience with Deltek and Microsoft Office 365.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain CPR, OSHA 10, NFPA70E certifications.
