QA Engineer - Digital Solutions

About the role

Digineox, a Houston-based consulting and technology firm, is hiring a QA Engineer for its Digital Solutions, including field worker applications used by operations teams. The role is full-time and remote, with US business-hours overlap, and involves working with a senior team member to test real user workflows and find issues before users do.

Key responsibilities

• Turn requirements and user workflows into test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory and API testing.
• Build and maintain automated tests for key workflows.
• Log defects clearly, work with developers and verify fixes.
• Report testing progress and release risks.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of software testing experience, or equivalent project experience.
• Experience testing web or mobile applications.
• Attention to detail, curiosity about how users work and clear communication.
• US authorization required; international roles depend on location and are confirmed during recruitment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of SQL and Git.
• Exposure to test automation and a willingness to build skills quickly.
• Nice to have: JavaScript and tools such as Playwright, Cypress or Jest, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and exposure to performance, accessibility or security testing.
