Psychiatrist – Integrated Severe Mental Illness Care

About the role

We are seeking a board‑certified Psychiatrist to join our Los Altos clinic, delivering integrated, high‑acuity outpatient care for adults with severe mental illness. You will work side‑by‑side with therapists, primary‑care physicians, dietitians and community health workers to provide coordinated, longitudinal treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive behavioral health management for patients with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar I and treatment‑resistant depression.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans during engagement and stabilization phases.
• Monitor patient progress across multiple treatment modalities and deliver regular in‑person and occasional virtual consultations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and share responsibility for patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Medical degree and board certification in Psychiatry.
• Experience treating severe mental illness in an outpatient setting.
• Willingness to work full‑time, part‑time or as an independent contractor (1099) onsite in Los Altos, CA.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous learning.
