Proposal Manager

About the role

The Proposal Manager leads a fast‑paced proposal team to create compelling proposals and interview presentations that win new business for Raftelis. This role combines team leadership, process improvement, and hands‑on proposal development in a deadline‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of five proposal specialists, providing oversight, feedback, and professional development.
• Develop and lead initiatives to continuously improve proposal processes, including adoption of AI tools.
• Collaborate with project managers to craft win themes and strategic insights for proposals.
• Own complex, high‑stakes proposals, ensuring accuracy, quality, and visual appeal.
• Maintain daily RFP searches, track proposal metrics, and analyze results for improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 8+ years of proposal development experience with a proven track record of delivering winning proposals.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience, demonstrating strong leadership and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the corporate headquarters in uptown Charlotte at least three days per week.

Required skills

• Advanced formatting skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with ClickUp workload management platform.
• Strong proofreading, editing, and reading comprehension abilities.
