Project Manager – Power Distribution Projects

About the role

Eaton’s Fibrebond engineering team is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple power distribution and related industry projects from point of sale through delivery. Based at the Minden, LA manufacturing campus, you will serve as the customer’s single in‑house contact, overseeing all aspects of project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support communication with customers and their representatives, providing updates and relaying information to internal teams.
• Coordinate assigned projects to ensure smooth production runs and meet customer expectations.
• Track project scope, document changes, and assist with change order processing.
• Work closely with Engineering to support design efforts and confirm alignment with customer requirements.
• Enter and maintain project‑related data, including sales orders and engineering jobs, within the ERP system.
• Prepare and update project status reports for internal stakeholders and customers.
• Develop long‑lead Bills of Materials (BOMs) and coordinate with Purchasing for timely material ordering.
• Collaborate with production, installation, transportation, and field service teams to meet schedule and delivery requirements.
• Liaise with Quality Control to schedule inspections and ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects in power distribution, industrial, or related sectors.
• Ability to act as the single point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the Minden campus.
