Plant Quality Engineer

About the role

Eaton’s Electrical Sector – ARS division is seeking a Plant Quality Engineer for its Fibrebond team at the Minden, LA manufacturing campus. The role ensures product quality across all production stages, supports engineering and supplier processes, and drives continuous improvement toward zero‑defect performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to quality standards, specifications, and procedures in manufacturing.
• Support engineering and program teams with continuous‑improvement and problem‑solving initiatives.
• Lead corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, A3, and Lean methodologies.
• Manage non‑conforming material, including disposition, containment, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures aligned with Eaton QMS and ISO 9001.
• Serve as liaison for customer quality concerns and drive timely resolution.
• Support audits, promote a strong quality culture, and train quality team members.
• Apply error‑proofing, calibration, and process‑capability methods to achieve zero defects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or enrollment with graduation by June 2027.
• Minimum two years of experience in quality engineering or related manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to relocate within the United States (relocation assistance provided).
