Program Manager – Grid Operations & Control Center

About the role

The Infosys Engineering unit seeks a Program Manager to lead grid operations and control‑center transformation initiatives, driving data‑first engineering and AI‑enabled analytics for utilities.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and data‑driven decision‑making to ensure project execution and alignment with objectives.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to define project scope and foster consensus for successful outcomes.
• Refine project management processes by incorporating best practices and lessons learned.
• Establish quality benchmarks and implement risk management strategies.
• Monitor project margins and ensure alignment with financial targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• Experience supporting grid modernization or control‑center transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with renewable integration challenges, contingency analysis, state estimation, or grid reliability analysis.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Grid Operations & Control Center expertise (transmission, distribution, real‑time monitoring, outage coordination).
• Operational systems assessment (EMS, GMS, SCADA, DMS/ADMS, OMS, historians, asset platforms).
• AI & advanced analytics use‑case development (alarm prioritization, abnormal behavior detection, event correlation).
• Architecture & data strategy collaboration with OT, IT, and data teams.
• GE ETERRA GMS/EMS advisory knowledge.
