Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

The Senior Quality Engineer will join Fibrebond’s manufacturing campus in Minden, LA, supporting the design and production of modular buildings and power enclosures. The role ensures that all products meet internal, customer, and industry quality standards while driving continuous improvement and zero‑defect performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update quality standards, procedures, and ISO 9001 compliance across manufacturing operations.
• Support engineering and program teams with problem‑solving initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Lead corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, A3, and Lean methodologies.
• Act as liaison for customer quality concerns, managing non‑conforming material and corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, error‑proofing evaluations, and develop escalation protocols.
• Support internal and external audits and promote a strong quality culture.
• Assist in training and development of quality team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least five years of engineering, quality, or operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, TS16949 quality systems.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Why, A3, and Lean methodologies.
• Calibration and error‑proofing techniques.
• Root‑cause analysis and corrective‑preventive action (CAPA) processes.
