Project Manager

About the role

Translation Excellence is a global provider of language services, serving corporations, governments, non-profits, educational institutions and individuals. Its Project Manager joins the Project Management team and monitors that all functions are completed accurately and efficiently with excellent customer service. The role works with the PM team to ensure projects are completed properly and on time, and calls the Production Coordinator.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of project setup: data entry, scheduling, linguist selection and client communication.
• Review original client documents to decide whether pre-formatting or desktop publishing is needed.
• Select linguists for each project according to project needs and their skills.
• Review linguists' and formatters' work, communicate errors constructively and compare documents so target files match the source files.
• Perform final reviews of translated documents for quality and consistency.
• Discuss and resolve service-related issues with the immediate supervisor.
• Troubleshoot basic workflow problems after escalation, while keeping clients informed.

Required profile

• Willingness to work in Aurora, CO.
• 2+ years of experience in a job or school-related activity using computers and software.
• Detail-oriented, organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proofreading skills and attention to detail on a printed page; tech-savvy and willing to learn new tools.
• COVID-19 vaccination attestation submitted within 7 days of starting, and adherence to company safety policies.
