Production Coordinator - Language Services

About the role

Translation Excellence is a global provider of language services serving corporations, governments, non-profits, educational institutions and individuals. Its Production Coordinator works within the Project Management team, ensuring projects are completed accurately, efficiently and on time. The role suits someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of project setup: data entry, scheduling, linguist selection and client communication.
• Review original client documents to determine whether pre-formatting or desktop publishing is needed.
• Select linguists for each project based on project needs and their skills.
• Review linguists' and formatters' work and communicate errors constructively.
• Compare documents so that all target files match the source files.
• Perform final reviews of translated documents for quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot basic workflow problems after escalation and keep clients informed.
• Discuss and resolve service-related issues with the immediate supervisor; additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Willingness to work full time in the office in Aurora, CO.
• 2+ years of experience in a job or school-related activity using computers and software.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities, with proofreading skills and attention to detail.
