Project Manager - AI Automation Deployments

About the role

AppliedAI, an AI technology company building an agentic automation platform called Opus, is expanding its presence in the Americas and is hiring a Project Manager. The role leads delivery of implementation and transformation Opus deployment projects for clients, with Austin, Texas preferred. Work authorization: the company cannot sponsor visas, so candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full delivery lifecycle of assigned projects: scoping, planning, execution, testing, deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Build detailed project plans, RAID logs and daily/weekly reports, and set up governance cadences such as stand-ups, steering committees and sprint reviews.
• Act as the main day-to-day contact for client project teams, coordinate discovery sessions and partner with clients after deployment to find more value.
• Translate requirements into actionable plans, manage expectations, budgets, quality, scope changes and approvals, and support UAT, training and enablement.
• Identify risks and blockers, control scope creep through change control, and keep documentation clear and up to date.
• Work with Product and Engineering on workflows and handovers, share lessons learned, mentor project coordinators or analysts and help forecast delivery capacity.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in project management, delivery, consulting or program coordination.
• Proven track record managing multiple complex IT transformation projects across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SaaS, technology, AI, data or process-automation projects.
• Nice to have: enterprise implementations or workflow automation, Agile and Waterfall familiarity, consulting or customer success background, and PMP, PRINCE2 or ScrumMaster certification.
