IT and A/V Support Specialist

About the role

Asure Software, a provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) software and services, is looking for an IT and A/V Support Specialist for its Austin headquarters. You will be the go-to person for help during executive meetings and for all audiovisual needs, and also support the internal IT support team with technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide rapid, hands-on support for IT, mobile devices, A/V systems and software, especially during meetings.
• Set up and give live support for board meetings, virtual conferences and town halls.
• Handle onsite and remote technical support cases by phone, email and ticket submission.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
• Diagnose hardware problems with A/V systems, workstations and printers, and identify root causes including network, hardware and cabling issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and manage user accounts, group permissions and licenses.
• Maintain network infrastructure including switching, firewalls and wireless equipment.
• Occasionally work outside normal business hours to support executive meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to deliver top-tier technical support to the C-level team.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Entra, Intune).
• Proficiency setting up A/V equipment.
