Project Consultant (Outside Sales) – Roofing & Exterior Restoration

About the role

Aspen Contracting, an established national exterior restoration company, is hiring experienced roofing and exterior restoration sales professionals for its Waterloo, Iowa market. The position is full-time, W-2, with paid training and weekly pay plus uncapped commission. Training, team meetings and office-based business activities are based at the Cedar Falls office, so candidates must be able to commute there reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Meet homeowners to assess roofing and exterior restoration needs and conduct property inspections to identify project opportunities.
• Build customer relationships, present solutions and explain project options and next steps.
• Manage customer relationships from the first appointment through project completion and develop an active sales pipeline.
• Follow up consistently, address objections and move qualified opportunities toward closing.
• Use company technology to document customer information and project details, and coordinate with internal teams.

Required profile

• Previous roofing or exterior restoration sales experience; residential roofing sales experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with inspections, managing opportunities and maintaining a sales pipeline preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel locally in the Waterloo market.
• Ability to commute to the Cedar Falls reporting office for training, meetings and business activities.

Required skills

• Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet and company technology.
• Ability to work independently, manage time and follow through with customers.

What we offer

• Compensation of $70,000 to $200,000+, with weekly pay and uncapped commission.
