Project Consultant (Outside Sales) – Roofing & Exterior Restoration

About the role

Aspen Contracting, a national exterior restoration company, is hiring a Project Consultant (Outside Sales) for its Knoxville, Tennessee market. The role suits experienced roofing and exterior restoration salespeople who can turn inspections into projects. All training, team meetings and office-based business activities are based at the Lenoir City, Tennessee office, so candidates must be able to commute there reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Sell roofing and exterior restoration services to homeowners
• Conduct property inspections and identify project opportunities
• Build rapport, present solutions, handle objections and close sales
• Manage the sales pipeline and follow up consistently
• Take ownership of customer relationships and sales results
• Work independently in the field while collaborating with internal teams

Required profile

• At least 18 years old
• Previous roofing or exterior restoration sales experience; residential roofing sales experience strongly preferred
• Experience conducting property inspections and managing sales opportunities preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel locally throughout the assigned market
• Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet and company-provided technology

Required skills

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
