Progress Engineer Summer 2027 Internship

About the role

Michelin is offering a Summer 2027 internship in its Progress Engineering program in Norwood, NC. The internship gives hands-on manufacturing experience where the intern's work directly improves shop performance and operator outcomes. It is aimed at students who want to apply classroom learning to real production challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Receive practical training in industrial engineering fundamentals

Required profile

• Major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, Environmental Engineering or Computer Science
• Currently enrolled full time at an accredited four-year college or university
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Willingness to work in an industrial plant environment, Monday to Friday on day shift
• US citizen, permanent resident or otherwise authorized to work for Michelin on an ongoing, indefinite basis; the position is not available for immigration sponsorship

• Ability to learn other software systems
