Program Security Officer 2

About the role

MANTECH is seeking a Program Security Officer 2 to provide expert security guidance to government and industry partners. The position is based onsite in Chantilly, VA and supports national‑security programs across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise government and program security officers on classification, personnel, physical and information systems security.
• Conduct briefings, indoctrinations and deliver recommendations to Directorate leadership and program managers.
• Assist in developing security policies, implementation procedures and support the NRO Integrated Security Assessment Program.
• Travel domestically and OCONUS up to 25%.

Required profile

• HS diploma with 8+ years, Associate with 6+ years, Bachelor with 4+ years, or Master with 2+ years of relevant security experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and ability to handle highly sensitive information.
• Demonstrated ability to assess classification determinations, FOIA, and pre‑publication reviews.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ICD 503, ICD 705, DISS, Scattered Castles, NRO Directives and Intelligence Community Directives.
• Knowledge of NISPOM, program protection methodologies and risk‑management principles.
