Program Director, AI for Education

About the role

Team4Tech is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead AI‑for‑Education initiatives, guiding NGOs in low‑resource settings to adopt generative AI for personalized learning. You will manage technical assistance projects, training cohorts, and volunteer collaborations to accelerate impact.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run technical assistance projects with corporate and philanthropic partners, helping NGOs implement AI in education.
• Design and deploy AI readiness assessments and training cohorts for NGO staff.
• Manage skilled‑volunteer consulting projects, including selection, matching, training, delivery, and evaluation.
• Ensure project quality, share lessons learned with the Community of Practice, and coordinate with regional hub leads.
• Analyze program data to generate insights for reporting and future design.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in educational technology program management, preferably with AI strategy or capacity‑building projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading AI for education initiatives in low‑resource contexts.
• Strong project management, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
• International development experience with ability to work across cultures and travel as needed.
