Program Coordinator

About the role

The Program Coordinator works within the Center for Student Engagement to advise students and student organizations, design training initiatives, and create co‑curricular learning experiences across Georgetown’s campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the Advisory Board for Club Sports, the GOLD programs, and selected Student Activities Commission organizations.
• Design and deliver leadership programs, training initiatives (travel, hazing education, prevention), and Blueprint Student Organization training.
• Collaborate with the Associate Director of Student Engagement and supervise three Graduate Assistants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 1‑3 years of experience in student activities, advising, or student affairs.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional long or irregular periods, and perform light physical activity on site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with GMS/Workday, Campus Groups or similar student engagement platforms.
• Experience with financial and human‑resource management tools.
