Parent and Student Service Advisor

About the role

The Parent and Student Service Advisor (PSSA) serves as the frontline point of contact for students and their families at Georgetown University. This role ensures timely, accurate information and support across admissions, academic processes, student life, and campus services, reflecting Georgetown’s brand and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for student and family inquiries, providing excellent customer service via phone and email.
• Liaise between parents, students, and internal teams, escalating issues to leadership when necessary.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to communicate updates, manage course waitlists, and oversee completion of required student forms.
• Coordinate with campus health and safety partners to ensure compliance for residential students.
• Support special projects related to Summer Programs, including website updates and outreach webinars.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or 1‑3 years of customer service experience in a higher‑education setting.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
