Professor of Clinical Medicine – Cardiology (Electrophysiology)

About the role

The University of Miami seeks a full‑time Professor of Clinical Medicine specializing in Cardiology Electrophysiology. This faculty position combines patient care, teaching, and research within a vibrant academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implants.
• Provide follow‑up care and participate in on‑call coverage for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive cardiac care.
• Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical electrophysiology.
• Develop and implement new electrophysiology programs and clinical protocols.
• Engage in clinical and translational research, present findings at conferences, and contribute to peer‑reviewed publications.

Required profile

• MD or equivalent with board eligibility or certification in Cardiology.
• Fellowship training in Electrophysiology or equivalent experience.
• Strong clinical expertise and a commitment to advancing electrophysiology.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an academic, team‑oriented setting.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, staff, and peers.
