Professional Services Consultant

About the role

Orbus Software is looking for a Professional Services Consultant to help US customers, especially a large federal government engagement, turn complex Enterprise Architecture requirements into practical solutions. The role is fully remote, preferably based on the US East Coast, and reports to the Senior Director of Professional Services, North America.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a defined workstream within a large implementation, covering requirements gathering, solution configuration, testing, documentation, workshops and training.
• Provide onboarding and implementation support, ensuring customers realize value from Orbus products.
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and deliver clear solution walkthroughs and updates.
• Configure and optimise Orbus solutions, test them, and produce functional documentation for hand‑over.
• Deliver training, workshops and consultancy sessions, and share lessons learned with internal teams.
• Identify adoption barriers, provide feedback to product development, and travel up to 30% of the time for customer engagements.

Required profile

• Experience managing a workstream within a large software or technology implementation.
• Background in customer‑facing consultancy, software implementation or professional services.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical solution designs and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Service‑oriented approach with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
