Professional Engineer – Water/Drainage

About the role

We are looking for a Professional Engineer specialized in water and drainage to lead multi‑discipline water resources projects. You will own scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk from planning through construction support while delivering value to clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project execution plans, scopes of work and phase plans, tailoring delivery approaches to each context.
• Establish and monitor scope, schedule and budget baselines, applying change management and earned‑value reporting.
• Identify, analyze (qualitative and quantitative) and manage risks and opportunities, escalating issues when needed.
• Map stakeholders, lead meetings and presentations, and maintain transparent communication to manage expectations.
• Plan and execute design reviews, interdisciplinary checks, model and constructability reviews, and maintain document control.
• Forecast and allocate staff, coordinate multi‑office workshare and manage subconsultant scopes, deliverables and invoices.
• Integrate safety‑by‑design and environmental considerations, adhering to company and client procedures.
• Prepare fee proposals, track budgets, support invoicing and cash‑flow, and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain decision logs, archive calculations and correspondence, and conduct close‑out and lessons‑learned sessions.

Required profile

• Professional Engineer license and ability to perform services with ordinary skill and care.
• Commitment to public safety, health and welfare, and adherence to applicable laws, codes and standards.
• Integrity, honesty and transparent communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Willingness to act within areas of competence and avoid expanding obligations beyond standard of care.
