Production Planner

About the role

Join 3M as a Production Planner at the Hutchinson plant, collaborating with global teams to align supply with demand and drive supply‑chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze demand to create procurement and production schedules for the assigned area.
• Coordinate with internal and external suppliers and business teams to meet service, cost, and inventory targets.
• Lead projects that improve supply‑chain speed and inventory investment, reporting progress to management.
• Utilize tools such as eMes, PeopleSoft, Factory Planner, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance service levels and reduce non‑working inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed before start date.
• At least two years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, or related fields.
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and project‑implementation skills.

Required skills

• Factory Planner, eMes, DMPT, SAP experience.
• Advanced data analysis using Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Inventor.
• APICS CPIM certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification.
