Production Lead

About the role

The Production Lead supports production management by scheduling staff, setting priorities, and providing training for manufacturing employees. The role also handles initial troubleshooting of production issues and communicates improvements to management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production needs to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Direct employee workflow, monitor work assignments, and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Provide training, certify employees, and support cross‑functional teams such as Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering.
• Troubleshoot minor issues, elevate larger problems, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document jobs through manufacturing procedures and apply 6S Lean manufacturing principles.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of medical device manufacturing experience, preferably with prior lead experience.
• Basic knowledge of an ERP system and GMP requirements.
