Manufacturing Engineer Co‑op Internship

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer Co‑op will support the Operations team by conducting engineering studies, validations, and process improvements for medical device manufacturing in Interventional Urology.

Key responsibilities

• Validate manufacturing processes in line with regulatory standards.
• Identify cost‑saving projects and efficiency improvements while maintaining product quality.
• Implement process improvements, conduct DOE studies, and prepare validation protocols and reports.
• Participate in hands‑on problem solving and resolution.
• Work with mechanical and chemical process control systems.
• Maintain accurate records of lab work and test results.

Required profile

• Pursuing a 4‑year or graduate degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical Engineering or related field (sophomore level or higher).
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with 3D‑modeling software such as SolidWorks (preferred).
• Ability to develop test protocols, analyse data and write test reports.
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., two‑sample t‑test, tolerance limits).
