Production Associate

About the role

Enviromedica, a natural health and wellness company founded in 2007, is hiring a Production Associate in its Austin manufacturing department. The associate performs a mix of automated and manual production tasks according to a production schedule, meeting deadlines while keeping quality, efficiency and productivity high.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks and processes, including filling powders, liquids, creams, gels and salt flakes into containers on fully automated, semi-automated and manual equipment.
• Carry out labeling, kitting, cartoning and loading pallets of product for distribution.
• Retrieve raw materials from the warehouse, deliver finished goods and return unused materials for reconciliation.
• Perform testing and inspection activities supporting the manufacturing record for products on the assigned line.
• Complete end-of-day and cleaning schedules, preventive maintenance cleaning and equipment cleaning to maintain a cGMP environment.
• Take part in audits, tooling changeovers, process set-up and the site 5S program.
• Handle documentation, calculations, order closeouts and other written communications.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or at least 4 years of experience as a Production Associate or similar; life science graduates interested in manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
• Biotech or food industry experience highly desirable; GMP or FDA-regulated industry and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds from pallet to ground and to write and print legibly.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) awareness, including gowning procedures and lab documentation practices.
• Simple math calculations.
