Operations and Customer Quality Engineer II

About the role

As a Factory First Response Engineer you will identify, assess, and resolve quality issues that affect manufacturing operations, product quality, and business performance. The role blends engineering, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to investigate complex issues, evaluate risk, and drive sustainable corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate product, process, material, and manufacturing‑related quality issues to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Assess quality risks and evaluate impacts on operations, product performance, and business objectives.
• Analyze quality, operational, and supplier data to identify trends and emerging risks.
• Develop and implement containment, corrective, and preventive action strategies.
• Lead structured problem‑solving activities and support audits and quality system compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Quality Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, supplier quality, reliability, or related technical field.
• Experience leading root‑cause investigations and corrective‑action activities.
• Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Structured problem‑solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, A3, Root Cause Analysis).
• Interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications, test results, and reliability data.
• Data analysis and risk assessment.
