Associate Manufacturing Tech - Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Manufacturing Tech – Night Shift to join the production team at Celgard’s facility in Concord, NC. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate industrial film manufacturing equipment such as extruders, laminators, ovens, deployers, slitters, coaters, mixers and core slabbers.
• Prepare and monitor chemical solutions, perform quality testing of chemical products, and maintain accurate process records.
• Utilize powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) and conduct routine equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain safety and environmental standards, perform optical inspections, and support data management for traceability and process control.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Good attendance, safety record and ability to multitask across multiple machines.
• Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Operation of extruders, laminators, ovens, deployers, slitters, coaters, mixers and core slabbers.
• Use of powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
• Preparation of chemical solutions and use of quality testing instruments.
• Computer proficiency for operating software programs, scanners and data entry systems.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $18.50 plus a $1.20 night‑shift premium (total $19.70/hour) with overtime at time‑and‑a‑half.
