Recycling Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Recycling Manufacturing Technician joins Celgard’s production team in Concord, NC, working on the first‑shift schedule (8 am‑4:30 pm). The role focuses on operating and maintaining industrial film recycling equipment to support the manufacture of high‑performance battery separators.

Key responsibilities

• Operate industrial film recycling and processing equipment.
• Handle material using powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks.
• Pull recycling material according to batch specifications and monitor machine processes.
• Test product quality using instruments and record results.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine preventive maintenance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Good attendance and safety record; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial film recycling equipment.
• Use of powered industrial vehicles (forklift, pallet jack, clamp truck).
• Quality testing instrumentation.
• Computer proficiency with ERP and statistical process control software.
