Product Security Engineer (Azure SOC)

About the role

Aras, a leader in product lifecycle management, is looking for a Product Security Engineer to join its Security Operations Center focused on Azure environments. In this product‑focused position you will protect Aras’ digital assets by monitoring, detecting, investigating and responding to security threats across the cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Azure cloud infrastructure for potential threats using SOC tools, analyze alerts and prioritize security incidents.
• Respond to Level‑2 security incidents, coordinate mitigation actions and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct detailed investigations of complex security events in Aras SaaS, perform forensic analysis and determine root causes.
• Develop and refine detection mechanisms, customize security tools and improve response capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Security and Global Cloud Services teams, produce incident reports for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Automate response processes by creating scripts or tools, and maintain SOC workflows, run‑books and escalation models.
• Act as the primary incident commander and drive continuous improvement of SOC operations.

Required profile

• Engineering‑focused background with a strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently as the sole Product Security Operations Engineer.
• Experience handling security incidents and conducting investigations in cloud environments.
