Product Marketing Lead (NYC)

About the role

Grotto is seeking its first product marketing hire to shape the way AI and humans collaborate in the multifamily real‑estate space. Based in New York City, you will own the narrative, content engine, and go‑to‑market assets that make Grotto impossible to ignore.

Key responsibilities

• Build and run Grotto’s content engine from scratch, including blog, SEO/AEO/GEO strategy, thought leadership, and customer stories.
• Create sales collateral such as one‑pagers, decks, case studies, and competitive positioning to empower the GTM team.
• Own Grotto’s presence at industry conferences – develop booth materials, speaking proposals, sponsorship strategy, and post‑event follow‑up campaigns.
• Develop and articulate the AI + human narrative for multifamily, positioning Grotto as the voice of a new way of working.
• Partner closely with the CEO, GTM team, and Design to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
• Set up the supporting infrastructure: analytics, keyword research, content calendar, and measurement frameworks.

Required profile

• 2+ years in product, design, or engineering at an early‑stage or growth startup.
• 3‑8 years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience building content programs, demand‑gen engines, or brand narratives from the ground up.
• Strong writer with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear, compelling copy.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments without detailed briefs.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI as a practical tool, not just a buzzword.
• Experience with SEO fundamentals; familiarity with AEO and GEO is a plus.
• Based in New York City (NYC).
