Demand Generation Specialist

About the role

Sent is building the infrastructure for A2P messaging across SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS. We are looking for a Demand Generation expert to own the end‑to‑end self‑serve activation funnel, turning developer mindshare into sign‑ups, activated accounts, and pipeline. This is a highly technical, experiment‑driven role that requires building, measuring, and iterating on growth loops.

Key responsibilities

• Run a structured growth experimentation cadence across landing pages, onboarding, pricing, and paid creative, and double‑down on winning tests.
• Own the self‑serve activation funnel (signup → first API call → first production send), instrument it, identify drop‑offs, and design experiments to improve conversion.
• Partner with Developer Relations to turn technical content, demos, and community engagement into measurable demand.
• Engage credibly in developer ecosystems (Hacker News, X, Reddit, Discord, GitHub, newsletters, podcasts) and convert that engagement into repeatable acquisition channels.
• Manage full‑funnel demand across paid media, SEO, lifecycle, and events, building repeatable systems rather than one‑off campaigns.
• Build tooling and tracking: write SQL against the data warehouse, stand up landing pages, script automations, integrate the marketing stack via API, and create interactive demos.
• Report on marketing contribution to revenue, CAC, conversion rates, payback, and experiment ROI.
• Collaborate with sales on lead scoring, handoff, and account‑based plays for larger logos.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in demand generation or growth marketing, preferably at a developer‑first, API, or infrastructure company.
• Proven track record of owning a funnel end‑to‑end and hitting self‑serve revenue or pipeline targets.
• Experience working alongside Developer Relations or developer marketing and deep familiarity with the developer ecosystem.
• Strong experimentation rigor: hypothesis‑driven testing, ability to distinguish signal from noise.
